The Walker Ranch Loop is 7.2 miles long, mostly singletrack with a few rocky technical sections. There is a short stretch of dirt road, and a steep set of stairs that must be walked. There is a little over 1200 feet of elevation change, but none of the climbs are overly steep.

There was a fire there in September, 2000, and the effects are still very visible. There are some beautiful views at various points of the loop, including a view of Gross Dam.

To get there, follow Baseline up Flagstaff Mountain, and continue for a few miles past the Amphitheater. The trailhead is clearly marked, on the left side of the road.
