Sedona offers numerous opportunities for some fantastic day-hikes, most of which are easy to moderate in difficulty. Quoting Robert Stone from his book listing his 25 favorite hikes (near Sedona), "There is an old saying that God created the Grand Canyon, but he lives in Sedona." Without doubt the vistas in the Sedona vicinity are stunning and hiking among them is easy and often crowded. Still we are in Arizona so take plenty of water.
